Tower Attack: Touchdown
Originally created in 48 hours for GTMK Gamejam 2023 with the theme Roles Reversed. The Web-Version has been uploaded after the GMTK voting period and has received some minor updates (see below).
Tower Attack: Touchdown is the new sports sensation of this summer! It combines teamwork with the adrenaline rush of throwing around a live bomb while dodging deadly defenders.
What are you waiting for? Grab your friends1 and carry that bomb into the endzone and you can feel the rush of seeing a "Thank you for playing" message today!
How to play
Carry the bomb in the endzone to win. If the bomb is on the ground for too long it will explode and respawn.
Controls
Move/Aim - Left Stick / WASD
Pass/Switch Character - A (Gamepad) / Space
Throw - B (Gamepad) / Return

Update Notes (Web Version)
- Replaced placeholder sprites (bow shooter/projectiles) with custom ones
- Added some more SFX
- Added a restart button to the Touchdown screen

Reaaaally fun game I've played it many times, only thing I'd like is a timer to see how fast you got the touchdown and a restart button (I can't seem to figure out how to restart on web build) but other than that I think this is definitely a 10/10
Thank you very much! There was a bug where you couldn't restart correctly. I uploaded a fix for it yesterday, probably shortly after you played :D
A timer/highscore system was something I thought about adding, but I could not decide on how to implement it (purely based on time or on amount of bombs used, etc.) and also ran out of time for the gamejam. I will continue working on the project, but there probably wont be any updates here in the near future (e.g. no highscore) as I feel like there's a lot of potential and have bigger things in mind, that will take some time.
